My Top 5 Paid Subscriptions I’ll Never Cancel. Try Them for a Smarter, Safer, and More Organized You.

 Peanut butter gets canceled.

Recently, I reviewed my online subscriptions, Marie Kondo style. I realized I have a lot — from the necessary like Bluehost to the frivolous like monthly peanut butter.

(I mean, who doesn’t like PB? I only buy 100% pure, so the dog can also enjoy it. If you’re past 18 and still eating Skippy, shame on you.)

Anyway, I axed DisneyPlus, G Suite, and Dollar Flight Club.

Please note:

I only recommend services I’m personally using. This page contains affiliate links, meaning, I may get a tiny commission if you decide to sign up or subscribe through my links below.

That said, if I were to pick my 5 favorite online subscriptions, I swear by these:

1) Scribd (like Kindle on crack)

Scribd is a massive library of ebooks, audiobooks, magazines, podcasts, sheet music, and PDF documents (including some paywall-protected articles).

What’s more exciting are the perks. With Scribd, you will also get free access to other paid sites. My favorites are Curiosity Stream (a streaming platform for documentaries) and Mubi (think Netflix for indie films). So it’s like having 4–5 subscriptions for the price of one.

If you sign up HERE, you get 60 days of free reading and listening, and I get 30 days free. Win-Win.

2) Evernote (my digital filing cabinet)

This note-taking app is my longest-running subscription (since 2015). Almost my entire online life is filed here, synced across all my devices: ideas, voice notes, brain dumps, copywriting swipe files, PDF files, and more.

My Evernote is now filled with years worth of ideas. I’m not sure I can ever cancel.

3) Finimize (my finance butler)

Want to be a smarter, more confident investor?

I use this finance newsletter app for news, expert analyses, and guides on personal finance and investments. I started with a free newsletter but their articles were so good I upgraded to a paid option.

I enjoy reading (or listening to) their well-researched, actionable, and fun-to-consume pieces. Made for ordinary investors like me.

I find their portfolio samples, stock picks, and trend breakdowns very useful. They’re saying, “Here, take all this information. Now go make a smart decision.”

Try the free newsletter for seven (7) days. Or, if you decide to upgrade to premium, use this link to get 50% off your subscription.

4) Dashlane (my digital bodyguard)

My all-in-one password manager and VPN app. It also scans the web and notifies me if a login detail is compromised. With my premium account, I can use it across multiple devices.

Here’s what impresses me, though: Unlike other password managers, Dashlane has never been hacked.

Though they claim to be super safe, I’m still wary of saving bank and crypto passwords here. If only my brain can retain everything!

Sign up to Dashlane HERE and claim your 6 months of free Premium. Yes, that’s 6 months of online protection, free.

5) N26 Black Card (my travel companion)

German bank, 100% digital. I was an early adopter, so I was able to lock in a good monthly price.

My MasterCard is my debit card + Allianz travel insurance rolled into one. Can’t say no to free ATM withdrawals worldwide. I’ve used this card in many countries, no issues so far.

I’m also pleased with their customer service, which makes it redundant to upgrade my Revolut and Vivid cards. Unfortunately, N26 is no longer offered in the U.S. and is only available in Europe.

What’s your favorite paid subscription? Also, do you like peanut butter?
